Real estate prices

The Swiss real estate price index, quarterly back to 1970, and the only real estate price series in the catalog (no FSO equivalent in the set). Its distinctive feature is a second dimension keyed on the data provider: the same property types are sourced from four different private/official providers, so the cube is really a matrix of property type x provider, letting users compare methodologies. The provider dimension nests provider -> price basis: Swiss Federal Statistical Office (transaction price), Fahrländer Partner (transaction price), IAZI (transaction price), and Wüest Partner (both asking price AP and transaction price TP). Not every property type exists for every provider, so the 17 series are a sparse cross of the two dimensions, not the full 8 x 5 product. Property types span residential (privately owned apartments, single-family houses, apartment buildings) and rents/commercial (rental housing, office, industrial/ commercial, retail).
