Licenses
dataseries is a non-commercial project. It adds no license of its own and claims no rights over the data. All data comes from public institutions that already publish it openly, and their terms apply.
Every dataset has a license field, in the catalog and in its metadata, that names the publisher whose terms apply. Publishers can change their terms, so check the current text on their site:

Each dataset page also links to the page the data was taken from. Whether your use is permitted is for the publisher to decide. If in doubt, ask them.

Credit the publisher, for example:

Adding "via dataseries.org" is optional. If a publisher uses a named license such as Creative Commons, follow what that license asks for.
