dataseries.org needs no account and sets no cookies. This page lists what is recorded when you use the website, the API or the MCP server.

Server logs
The web server logs every request: the IP address, the time, the requested URL, the response status and the request headers, such as the user agent and the referring page. We use the logs to keep the service running and to see which datasets are used. Old entries are deleted automatically as new ones come in, at current traffic after about five weeks.
API and MCP server
Requests to the API and to the MCP server at /mcp are in the same logs. A URL, including any search words in it, is logged like any other. The content of a request is not: the tool calls and search words an assistant sends to the MCP server are used to answer the request and then discarded.
Visitor statistics
The website counts visits with Plausible Analytics. Plausible sets no cookies, does not store IP addresses and runs on servers in the EU.
Hosting and sharing
The servers are hosted by Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. We do not sell the logs or pass them on.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and have it deleted, by writing to contact@cynkra.com.
